Nick Rugai performing a TARD-over at the Perrine Bridge.
The Nitro Rigging jump course is a 6-day course held at the Perrine Bridge in Twin Falls Idaho, one of the few legal BASE sites in the US. The course is conducted by Nick Rugai with occasional guest experienced jumpers. The course focuses on gear set up for any delay, packing, different types of exit, emergency procedures, unpacked jumps, landing, and the basic “ethical” principles. If the weather cooperates students are expected to go back home with more than 20 jumps. The course hopes to give students principles knowledge in order to pursuit BASE jumping. The course will not make anyone a BASE jumper due to the nature of the object (the Perrine bridge is 486’ high, single span, and with a grassy landing area larger than a football field, in all not your typical BASE object hence the nickname the "Potato Bridge"). Our course requirements are much higher and stricter than any other BASE courses however our course fees are a fraction of the cost. We are not looking to make any money off the students just to have a ball teaching the course! In order to enroll in the course you must have:

Pricing$ 500 plus beer for the instructor who by the way has a very small liver and gets drunk after only two beers! The course must be paid in full at the time of booking. There are no refunds for no-show. The course's profit will be donated to the Bid on Maggot! Non-Profit Foundation so the course costs can be tax-deducted by the students. Inquire more information here.
Schedule: 3-day accelerated course September 26, 27, and 28 (We recommend booking from the 25 to the 29). 12+ hours of jumping each day! Get ready for a workout! Paraplegic jumper Stephen Boyle is going to join us as honorary instructus emeritus!
