Q: Where are Nitro Rigging Wingsuits made? A: All our suits and containers are built in our shop in DeLand, FL USA. Q: Why do you use parapack for your wingsuit? A: For both durability and performance. Q: What is your delivery time? A: At the moment around 6 weeks. Q: Do you have stock sizes for the wingsuits? A: Absolutely not! Every single piece of our suits is custom tailored. Q: Can I demo a wingsuit? A: Sure, there are some restrictions though. Just go to the Demo page to find out more about our demo program. Q: Can I get a hook knife pouch on the suit? A: We actually recommend to get a Captain Hook Knife. Those knives come in a parapack pouch (same material used on our wingsuit for a very clean installation) so you can position it in any location you want. Q: Can I use the PC leg BASE pouch on the Rigor Mortis II for skydiving? A: Although not recommended, you may, however you should avoid high speed exits and back flying while using the BASE pouch. Q: Is the PC leg pouch mandatory for BASE jumping? A: No, it is not. Some jumpers prefer the container BOC even during BASE wingsuit jumps while others prefer the PC leg pouch. (I use the BOC all the time, NR). Q: Can I skydive with the Rigor Mortis BASE? A: In most countries you cannot. The RM BASE is a non-certified single canopy system. In other countries you may be allowed to jump a single-canopy-non-certified-system. Q: Do I need a Rigor Mortis BASE or a Rigor Mortis II for BASE jumping? A: Granted that we do not encourage anyone to perform wingsuit flying in the BASE environment (unless of course you really want to have a good time!), all our suits are designed with BASE in mind first and they are all BASE "friendly". That means that we thought for quite sometime "the shit happens scenario" or alternately, our gear is designed so it will not be the cause of an incident. Q: What is the correct leg position while flying an Nitro Rigging Wingsuit? A: The leg position while flying one of our wingsuits is a bit different than other suits. The toes should be pointed sideways rather than downwards and the knees should point slightly sideway as well. This position creates the best profile for the leg wing.
Q: What are the requirements for purchasing a Tandus? A: You need a very minimum of 500 wingsuit jumps and 500 tandem jumps. Note that manufacturer of your tandem system might not approve tandem wingsuit jumps. We also advice not to take a first timer on a tandem wingsuit jump; returning students make better candidates. Q: What is your shipping method? A: We ship our products via a verity of postal services. For the US we ship USPS Priority, Insured, and with a tracking number. For the rest of the world we use UPS. Note that tracking number is always included and we aspect our customers to always include a shipping number when shipping items to us. Q: If Willy Coyote was jumping a wingsuit, who would he get it from? A: We did build a wingsuit for Willy and of course we had to put an ACME label on it! Note that the suit was not the cause of his 1031th death!
