Company ProfileNitro Rigging LLC was founded in 2005 by FAA Master Rigger, long-time skydiver and BASE jumper Nick Rugai. Nick made his first skydive in 1993 as a paratrooper and his first BASE jump in 1996. Nick also has a strong scientific background holding a Ph.D. in Systems Science/Intelligent Systems from State University of New York. In 2006, EG Wingsuits, a division of Nitro Rigging, was launched to produce and market high performance wingsuits for skydiving and BASE jumping built by EG Sky. In 2008 Nitro Rigging relocated to DeLand, FL moving production of wingsuits and containers in house and splitting from EG Sky. Nitro Rigging is no longer affiliated with EG Sky or any of its products. In the summer of 2008, we will introduce the third generation BASE canopy, the Tarpus, a revolutionary BASE container, the Limbus, and one of the highest performance skydiving canopies, the Swoopus. The 2nd generation of wingsuits is almost here as well! The Rigor Mortis II, Flockus II, Volturius II, and Corvus II will blow your mind away! And finally in the next few months we will see the birth of the Δ9_BASE and the so criticized Tandus. Our goal is to produce the finest products that state-of-the-art materials, innovative thinking, uncompromised quality, and the best customer service have to offer.
